Mouse Not visible / Delay

Im using Mac Mini and the New iPad. Want to use the iPad as a Monitor.
I successfully connected to the Mini and can See the Screen on my iPad. But there is a huge delay and I can't See the mouse moving ( using wireless keyboard and mouse connected to mini)
I already bought the pro Version, assuming it would work
Can somebody help please?
