Hello! I just configured my ipad with my mac, but when I try to go on, it says connection refused? Any idea what to do?

A couple things to check:
1. Have you enabled the Screen Sharing on Mac through System Preference?
2. Is the username/password correct?
3. Check Mac's firewall settings.
