Ability to change password in 'edit' mode

Is there a way to change a password when you are in 'edit' mode? I have discovered that when I changed passwords on my server or have had to reinstall the app when I get a new iPad, that I have to delete all my server entries and start all over again from scratch. This doesn't make any sense. There should be an easy way to update your password without having to delete the server and starting all over again. Help please? Thank you, Jim.
