Connection Failure

I used to be able to use this program fine. Now whenever I try to connect I get:

Connection Failure
The operation couldn't be completed.
(kCFeRRORdOMAINcfnETWORK ERROR 2.)
my.ip.address:3389

I can remote desktop in to the computer using my PC, and I used to be able to remote desktop in using this software.
I have recently updated to iOS 5.0.1 though I am not sure if this related to the issue. Previously I was using iOS 4.
I am using an iPad 1.

I am connecting to an Amazon EC2 instance of Win Server 2008.

When I remote desktop from my PC I get a warning message about the server not having a valid security certificate. This never used to cause a problem with the iRemoteDesktop.

Thanks for your help!

I use cloud gear to run my amazon machines. Turns out when I copy the ip address from cloud gear and paste into iremotedesktop there is a space inserted before the first character. This was causing the problem. Remove the ace and everything works as expected. Sorry for the spurious post. Great product!

Glad to know the issue resolved. We'll improve the robust handling of hostname with white spaces
