Can't connect

When I press the Connect button on the Hana dialogue box, a Microsoft box opens stating:

Application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the required permission, contact your system administrator, or use the Microsoft NET Framework Configuration tool. If you click Continue, the application will ignore the error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Requested registry access is not allowed.

Please advise.

The tool need to run as elevated administrator on Windows. Switch to an administrator account, or right click the tool and choose "run as", then use an administrator account to run it. And the tool is not necessary, you can manually configure it. See the manual configuration part here:
